SICB offers a diverse suite of services designed to aid students throughout their course of study. These include academic services (assistance with all queries about course changes, academic documents, absence, attendance, results, etc.), airport reception, choice of course timings, computer assistance (technical support), free fast Internet access, housing placement (homestay referrals), language assistance, orientation, remedial support, resume writing assistance, secured premises, social activities, sports / music activities, visa information and advice, welfare and academic counselling.

SICB's centrally located campus buildings are spread over several floors of air-conditioned comfort in Sydney and Melbourne and possess the following facilities: spacious classrooms fully equipped with the latest technologies including data projectors, overhead projectors, DVD players, amplifiers, televisions, VCRs, etc.;students' meal room/common room equipped with microwaves, vending machines and a fridge; students' recreation room (Melbourne campus only); students' photocopying and printing services; sick bay; conference room and meeting rooms.

We have an extensive number of approved Homestay families with whom students can choose to live while they are studying at SICB. - Choice of course timings
Students at SICB can choose to take subjects in the morning, afternoon or evening depending on their preferences and availability of places. This applies to all commercial cookery, patisserie, hospitality and hairdressing courses.
- Cultural diversity of students
SICB's student population reflects our international name. As a student at SICB you will be studying in the heart of a multicultural city alongside students from across the world. Drawing students from all four corners of the world, we currently have 62 nationalities represented at the college's two campuses.
- Support and help with academic work
Our Student Service Officers can assist international students if personal problems interfere with their studies. SICB's bilingual staff can also provide language assistance in certain languages, when required.
We also offer complete academic support for students by providing help with academic work (writing assignments, making presentations and examination techniques).
